Description

The Comet 10001-01360 is a genuine OEM seal kit for Comet TW Series triplex plunger pumps with 18mm plungers. Comet calls these “gasket kits,” but they contain the water seals (packings) that seal around each plunger and keep high-pressure water inside the pump. Seals wear naturally with use, and wear speeds up with running dry, high water temperatures, abrasive particles, or harsh chemicals. Worn seals typically show up as water dripping from under the pump head, pressure loss, or a pulsing, inconsistent spray.

Installing a fresh kit restores the seal around the plungers, brings the pump back to full rated pressure, and helps prevent damage to the plungers and manifold. As a genuine Comet part, it’s built for an exact fit in TW Series pumps.
