The Brass Allen Head Plug 3/8" MPT : a vital component in sealing up unused ports on manifolds, pumps or other gear inside pressure washer systems.

Its small size belies its importance - this tiny piece of kit is crucial for giving you a secure, leak-free seal in high pressure situations. We build these plugs out of high quality brass, which is known for its corrosion resistance and naturally resistant to corrosion from water, chemicals and the elements. That means you can count on it to last a long time and keep its shape.

The plug has a 3/8" MPT (Male Pipe Thread) which is a standard size that fits lots of different pressure washer applications. But what really sets this pipe plug apart is the Allen key recess inside the plug - it allows you to tighten and seal the plug using a standard Allen wrench or hex key, which is super handy when you're working in tight spaces where a big wrench wouldn't fit, leaving a flush finish and keeping things tidy. The brass is also strong enough to handle the kind of pressures and temperatures you get in commercial or industrial cleaning equipment. This is basically the reliable solution for keeping your hydraulic or pneumatic lines sealed tight.

Key features & Specs

This is a component that's been engineered to do a great job in tough conditions:

  • PRODUCT: Allen Head Plug

  • INLET/OUTLET: 3/8" MPT

  • MATERIAL: Brass

  • HEAD TYPE: Internal Hex (Allen) Head

  • FUNCTION: Seals unused ports on pumps and manifolds

Installation & reliability

Installation is dead easy - just apply some thread sealant, chuck the brass allen head plug into the female port and tighten it down with an Allen wrench until it feels secure. The heavy-duty brass is also resistant to cross-threading and deformation if you screw it in too tight. This means the plug will keep its seal even when the system is under a lot of vibration and pressure.
