The Comet 0019.0095.00 is a genuine OEM replacement oil seal for Comet triplex plunger pumps with 15mm plungers. Oil seals sit on the crankcase side of each plunger, keeping lubricating oil inside the pump and blocking water and contaminants from getting into the crankcase. A worn or damaged oil seal typically shows up as oil leaking from under the pump, a dropping oil level, or milky, water-contaminated oil, all of which can lead to bearing, connecting rod, and crankshaft damage if left unaddressed.
Because water seals and oil seals wear together, it’s good practice to replace the oil seals whenever you rebuild the pump’s water seals or replace plungers. Each pump uses three oil seals, one per plunger, so order three for a complete replacement. As a genuine Comet part, it’s built for an exact fit.
